IDEAS

Avoidance only delays the inevitable.

Have you ever noticed a thought or idea appear from out of nowhere? Perhaps a fully formed vision started begging for your attention? Or a random word or image kept trying to nudge you in the right direction?

Some ideas arrive to inspire us into action while others serve as a form of distraction. Some ideas hit us over the head and refuse to quit while others disappear before they ever become clear. Some ideas stick with us for years while others are specifically designed to push against our fears.

Knowing which ideas to pursue and deciphering what steps we should actually be taking often leads us toward indecision. We receive the nudge, but quickly convince ourselves our idea was meant for someone else or we hold a vision but refuse to take action. We talk ourselves out of instead of into our own ideas and the bigger the idea, the more we resist it. The bigger the leap outside your comfort zone; the less likely it is that we will actually take it.
